Assignment: Develop a new visual identity to be incorporated into the University?s communications, beginning with a logo, style guide, stationery, and website, to support and promote Drury?s image as a highly respected educational institution.
Positioning: Drury University offers a uniquely rewarding educational experience grounded in its heritage of excellence in the liberal arts combined with a global perspective and a strong sense of campus community.
Considerations: Having recently assisted Drury with the successful re-branding of its Athletics Department, The Team was commissioned to update the University?s overall visual identity, emphasizing four pillars of the Drury experience: service and leadership; learning and enlightenment; growth and sustainability; and global engagement. Symbols of these pillars, which would be incorporated into the logo design, include a bell, books and lamp, acorn and oak leaf, and globe, respectively. Also important to the University?s image are familiar architectural elements recognizable on its inviting, tree-lined campus.
Comm. Objective: Communicate both Drury?s heritage of excellence and its commitment to enhancing the future of its students and the world they engage.
